So you've been wondering what happened to 9-1-1, and if it's ever coming back.
Answer from Carina:
Good news! Your favorite medical drama/guilty TV pleasure, 9-1-1, returns on Thursday March 14th, 2024 at 8pm/7pm central. for Season 7 on ABC. It's going to reach it's 100th episode, the shortened season should be between 10-12 episodes.
Wait, what channel is this show on?
ABC. 9-1-1 was cancelled after Season 6 on Fox and was picked up by ABC. It moves from Mondays at 8 pm to Thursday at 8pm. It's first season was Fox on Sundays and second season was Fox Mondays at 9pm until finding its previous time slot.
Are you sure you have the right show? Isn't that Station 19?
I'm sure. Station 19, a few blocks from Grey-Slone Memorial, used to have the Thursday 8pm time slot, and it is also having its 100th episode in its Season 7. 9-1-1 is set exclusively in LA and is all about police, firefighters, paramedics, and 9-1-1 dispatchers fighting MANY MANY disasters that should make you reconsider moving to LA.
Like how many disasters?
A lot. Practically every episode and include a zoo escape/earthquake/plane crash in the ocean/earthquake/TSUNAMI. (Yes, Tsunami.) The season premiere seems to span 3 episodes which is part Russian terrorist cruise ship hijack/the Poseidon Adventure.
Unrelated, wow, at 65 Angela Basset looks amazing.
I'm in. Who else is in this show?
Peter Krause from Six Feet Under, Jennifer Love Hewitt from Ghost Whisperer, Connie Britton from Nashville, Kenneth Choi from Spiderman: Homecoming. There's a gazillion others including an actress from Fifty Shades Freed, but you might have to catch up on another 100 episodes.
(Rob Lowe is NOT on 9-1-1 - he's on 9-1-1: Lone Star, which is still on FOX if you're confused.)
If I'm not ready for 100 episodes, what do you suggest I do?
Well, TV rots your brain and since there's probably not going to be a tsunami this week, take your time to read a fun bundle of Steamy Happily Ever After Romances!
